Kinic DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization founded in 2022, focused on developing user-owned, portable, and verifiable AI memory solutions. Originating from a winning project in the ICP Supernova hackathon, Kinic utilizes grant funding and community contributions to advance its open-source technology. Operating globally without a centralized headquarters, Kinic is governed by its community through transparent DAO mechanisms, enabling contributors to influence development priorities and governance.

The organization’s primary offerings include the Kinic AI Memory Vault, fully on-chain vector databases, and integration tools such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), all designed to enhance privacy, control, and collaboration in AI memory storage and retrieval.
